If you're looking for a cheesecake pan, springform cake pans are the perfect choice. This 10 inch springform pan is so versatile it can be used for making cheesecakes, ice cream cakes, flourless chocolate cakes and so much more.
If making a cheesecake for a gift and you're afraid of leaving the bottom behind, use a 10 inch cake circle and double wrap with aluminum foil and replace the removable bottom part of the pan with it and bake as usual.
If putting in a bath, cover the removable bottom with two layers of heavy aluminum foil to ensure no leaking. You can also wrap the springform pan in 2 layers of aluminum foil before placing in the water bath.
Don't forget to make sure the pan is together properly before adding batter to the pan.
