This gummy recipe makes delicious gummy candies using plastic chocolate molds!
It can be made in either the microwave or on the stove top.
Ingredients

5 Tablespoons Great Lakes unflavored gelatin
3/4 cup cold water
2/3 cup sugar

1/3 cup glucose (you can also use light corn syrup).
2 ½ to 3 teaspoons extract or LorAnn Oil flavoring to taste.

½ teaspoon Citric Acid (optional).
Food color of choice.
Directions
Stovetop directions
In a small heavy saucepan combine 5 level tablespoons unflavored gelatin and ¾ cups cold water, let bloom.
Add sugar and glucose stir until blended.
Place the saucepan over medium heat till all ingredients look melted.
Once completely melted, add flavoring, citric acid, and color.
Citric Acid is an optional item but great for fruit flavors and making a sour gummy. Can also be mixed with sugar (to taste) to coat gummy after unmolding for a really sour gummy.
Pour into plastic candy molds and place in freezer for 5 minutes. When firm remove from the mold.
Microwave directions
In a 4 cup microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup combine 5 level tablespoons unflavored gelatin and ¾ cups cold water, stir to blend and let bloom (a consistency of stiff applesauce).
Add sugar and glucose stir until somewhat blended.
Place in microwave for 30 seconds, remove from microwave and stir to avoid hot spots.
Place back in the microwave for another 30 seconds, depending on your microwave, you may have to repeat this process for a total of 2 minutes to ensure the sugar has dissolved.
Once completely melted, add flavoring, citric acid, and color.
