Are you tired of plain old chocolate-covered strawberries? I don't blame you. But these adorable graduation chocolate covered strawberries are easy to make and will have your guests raving about how cute they are. Follow this step-by-step guide to create these delightful treats for your next graduation party.

Ingredients and Tools:

Instructions:

1. Making the Graduation Caps:

  • Start by making the caps using our small 3D graduation cap chocolate mold.
  • Fill in the tassels with yellow Merckens chocolate melts.
  • Tap the mold gently to bring air bubbles to the surface.
  • Let the tassels set at room temperature for a few minutes.
  • Fill each cavity with Merckens dark chocolate melts (or your chosen flavor/color).
  • Tap the mold on your work surface to release air bubbles.
  • Place the mold in the refrigerator for about 5-10 minutes or until the chocolate is easily released from the mold.

2. Preparing the Strawberries:

  • Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly.
  • Cut off the green stems and also cut the tips of the strawberries.
  • Save the strawberry tips for a snack later, or make a strawberry dessert salsa if you have enough.

3. Dipping the Strawberries:

  • Melt Merckens chocolate melts in the microwave in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between each interval (See how to melt Merckens here.)
  • Dip the strawberries into the melted chocolate and place them on a sheet of parchment paper.
  • Immediately add a graduation cap topper to each strawberry.
  • Set the strawberries aside to dry.

4. Adding Icing Eyes:

  • Up the cuteness by adding icing eyes to the strawberries.
  • Use additional melted chocolate and a toothpick to adhere the eyes to the strawberry.

And that's it! Easy and adorable chocolate-covered strawberries that will stand out at any graduation party. Your guests will love these cute and delicious treats, and you'll enjoy making them just as much as eating them. Enjoy your celebration!

Feel free to adjust the flavors and colors of the chocolate melts to match the theme of your graduation party. Have fun and happy celebrating!
