Chocolate covered crispy treats are easy to make with our crispy rice cereal bar mold! They're beautifully enrobed in an even coating of Merckens chocolate melts and easily decorated by adding chocolate drizzle and your favorite sprinkles!
Ingredients

Merckens chocolate melts (we used white chocolate, but you can use any flavor you’d like).

Sprinkles and edible decor (we used our social media star sprinkle mix, but you can use your favorite sprinkles).
Rice crispy cereal treats from your favorite recipe or pre-made.

Rice crispy cereal bar mold.

Disposable piping bags.

Directions
Make rice crispy treats according to your favorite recipe, or purchase them pre-made from the grocery store.
Cut the rice crispy treats to fit inside the rice crispy cereal bar mold, leaving enough space around the edges so that the rice crispy treats don’t touch the edges of the mold.
Press and shape to get the perfect size.
Melt Merckens chocolate candy coatings 20 seconds at a time in the microwave (see how to melt merckens here).
Fill mold cavities ¼ of the way with melted chocolate.
Press rice crispy treats into the mold, until chocolate comes up around the edges and refrigerate for about 10 minutes.
Remove from the refrigerator and top with more melted Merckens chocolate.
Tap the mold down onto the countertop to bring air bubbles to the surface.
Refrigerate for 5 to 10 minutes or until they easily release from the mold.
Decorate by adding chocolate drizzle and sprinkles (but make sure you let them come to room temperature first). And that’s it, easy to make chocolate covered rice crispy treats with a perfect chocolate coating and a smooth professional finish. Enjoy!
