If you’re new to candy making, you’ll love how easy it is to make homemade chocolate bars!
All you need are chocolate bar molds and Merckens chocolate candy coatings to make smooth and creamy bars. You can even add your favorite flavoring with LorAnn candy flavoring oils--chocolate and peppermint is one our favorite combinations. But why stop there? Get a little creative and mix in your favorite candy making ingredients like toffee crunch, chocolate cookie crumbs, toasted coconut, tiny crispy rice or even some chopped nuts and fruit. You can make the candy bar of your dreams!
Here’s how to craft the perfect chocolate bar
First, you’ll need to pick a chocolate bar mold or maybe several, because how can you make up your mind with so many to choose from. There are break apart bar molds for making traditional candy bars, molds that make giant chocolate bars for sharing (or not), and even fancy molds with elegant designs.
Now for the main ingredient, you’ll need some Merckens candy coatings in milk chocolate, white chocolate, or dark chocolate. Or use some of each.
Next, choose ingredients to mix into the melted candy coatings.
